Junior Business Analyst
The Information Management & Information Technology (IM&IT) function has opportunities to join their team as a Business Analyst.
We are seeking an innovative and creative Business Analyst who will support the analysis, identification and implementation of information systems in line with business needs.
You will work alongside our stakeholders within DE&S, engaging with unit Business Heads where you will have strategic discussions about their specific objectives and visions for their business areas.
The successful candidate will also work in cohesion with various areas of the organisation including the Architectural and Business Analysis departments, in order to meet DE&S customers' requirements.
Investigate, analyse and support the creation of documentation of business processes and detailed requirements for improving processes and IT systems.
Investigate and gather requirements to inform the development of new or improved business solutions.
Identify process improvements within project work and raise these to the appropriate stakeholder.
Look for new and innovate ways to achieve business outcomes.
Support the production of business models and assist in the preparation of business cases to support change and innovation.
Grow own knowledge of specialist areas to develop own capability further.
Contribute to the work of the team, function by suggesting improvements or new ways of working to improve the quality of the Business Analysis work.
Be an active part of the Business Analysis community, attend meetings and participate in working groups.
Perform FDO role to improve capability within the function and participate in other function improvement activities.
What you will be assessed against To be successful with your application you must demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
Exposure to Business Analysis & Business Change
Willing to work towards an International Diploma in Business Analysis and/ or BCS Certification in Business Analysis.
Ability to communicate across multiple levels
Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills It would benefit your application if you be able to demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
Experience of Data Analysis
Familiarity with Office365, Sharepoint
