The Job

A leading Telecoms & Electronics provider is requiring a Digital Platform Assistant to join them on a permanent basis based in Chertsey, Surrey.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • COMMUNITY DAILY OPERATION:
    • Daily administrative tasks on Samsung Community, including asset management,
    • tagging updates, creating new boards/contests, user/authority management, etc.
    • Working with the Community platform vendor to address, resolve and communicate any issues.
    • Recommend, test and implement new features as appropriate.
    • Oversee moderation activity, including creating/managing house rules, user guides, etc.
    • Network with Community members and identify Community Champions.
    • Ensuring all content and activity on Community reflects correctly on Members App, and vice versa.

  • WEB/CONTENT DAILY OPERATION:
    • Support the content production operation, including managing translation requests, overseeing the content catalogue, collating any new requirements, etc.
    • Upload assets onto our asset repository platform, ensuring all relevant content is available in a timely fashion.
    • Daily administrative tasks on .COM/Support site to monitor performance and quality of content, and identify, resolve and communicate any issues.
    • Coordinates with key stakeholders, third party agencies and other parts of the business to ensure aligned and successful content deliverables.

  • ANALYTICS/REPORTING
    • Supports in the setup & continued management of internal reporting dashboards.
    • Monitors and measures the success of engagement across all digital channels and provides reports and presentations as required.
    • Identifies and reports on digital trends, advising on opportunities or risks.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

  • Proactive, independent, responsible attitude.
  • Ideally brings experience in a similar digital management role
  • Ideally cross-cultural experience and ability to work with agencies and production companies
  • Confident using analytics tools/data to monitor, evaluate and optimise performance
  • Flexibility to deal with evolving team, individual objectives and challenging market conditions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (clear, accurate, complete, actionable)
  • The ability to package and present ideas with clarity, and to convey complex information in an appropriate way

Desired

  • Experience with, or deep understanding of the consumer electronics industry.
  • Big brand experience in similar industry
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Global or European experience good but not essential

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Basic annual salary depending upon experience, available up to £23,000
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Up to 15% discretionary performance based bonus per annum (following successful completion of probation period)
