Network Support Engineer required for a 3 month contract (possibility of extending) based in Hampshire.

Working inside of IR35 for a well-established NHS organisation, you will provide Network support to end users across multiple sites across the North Hampshire area (Andover, Winchester, Basingstoke)

Key responsibilities:

  • Completing service desk and project requests for network point patching across all sites (Andover, Winchester, Basingstoke)
  • Arranging new network point installations with customer and cabling contractor
  • Network point and structured cabling fault repairs (familiar with pin outs and procedures to correctly terminate cables)
  • Configure and deploy Mitel VoIP handsets to fulfil new phone requests (training will be provided)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity faults
  • Basic Edge switch configuration (assigning ports to VLANs etc.)
  • Audits and tidy ups in network cabinet locations and Computer Suites

As you will be travelling to multiple sites you will need to drive and have access to your own car. This position is to start ASAP and will pay between £11-£15 + HP and Pension PAYE or £13 - £18.65 Umbrella per hour (inside of IR35) depending on your level of experience.
