Introduction

We are currently looking for two experienced IT Site Technicians to work on a 12 months fixed term basis across a broad range of technologies and liaise across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests.

The Job

Successful candidates will be based in Head Office in Durrington, West Sussex (once the C19 restrictions are lifted), with a potential to earn up to £37,200 p/a, subject to experience. You will be responsible for answering IT requests via phone, email, and the ServiceNow ticketing platform, as well as provide 3rd level general user support for desktop, printer, and mobile devices both remotely and face to face through site visits in the field. Please note that the role includes the following shift pattern - 8am - 4pm or 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are a team player with positive attitude, have at least 2 years' experience within Enterprise IT Environment in a Desktop support role and the willingness to plan and deliver complex Project based activities, please get in touch. Your duties will include but not limited to: * Producing service improvement initiatives to increase the performance and resilience of the in scope technology. * Building and installing PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards. * Identifying, logging and resolving technical problems with software applications or network systems. * Identifying potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation. * Ensuring that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines. * Maintaining CMDB database in a timely manner to closely manage company assets. * Work with Site Operational Support Manager and Technical Team Leader to plan and deliver project based activities. You will also mentor, train and develop junior staff members within the team, as well as shift responsibilities to Service Desk. As this role requires technical expertise, you will demonstrate the ability to configure core applications in order to support mobile technology and security activities, as well as strong competency to diagnose and resolve time critical issues. You will also possess the ability to listen to customers and partners and understand their goals to pull together detailed project specifications.
