The Job

A leading telecoms provider is requiring a Telecoms Operations Manager to join their offices in Chertsey, London on a permanent basis.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Be the point of contact for European subsidiaries, their BPO's and contact centres
  • Monitor network performance and utilisation via system portals
  • Monitor Telephony services via system portals
  • Monitor IVR services, conduct changes within scope, as required
  • Conduct incident management swiftly and appropriately, as required
  • Verify 3rd party vendor monthly invoicing
  • Issue customer based monthly invoicing
  • Managing & report SLA (Service Level Agreement) monthly.
  • Support SR (service request) ticket system
  • Support project management and change management activities from preparing SoW's through to coordination of changes and roll out, as required
  • Identify key stakeholders and build effective relationships with customers
  • Identify risks and recommend plan for contingencies
  • Track and resolves risks, issues, and action items throughout operational management

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's/Master degree in related field or equivalent demonstrable experience

SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES, EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • Ability to organize operational work effectively, juggle competing demands/changes
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, particularly around finance and billing
  • Proactive, independent, responsible attitude
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years experience in telecoms industry with exposure to
    • Telephony
    • Networks
    • Voice equipment
  • Understanding of telecoms network operation
  • SLA management
  • Risk and issue management
  • Service desk management/operation

Desired

  • 3+ years experience in contact centre telephony and network operation industry
  • In-depth knowledge of processes in all business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Customer Services
  • Global or European experience an advantage
  • Full project lifecycle experience within an I.T or Telecoms environment
  • Direct report management experience

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Basic annual salary depending upon experience
  • 25 days annual leave pro-rated

HOURS OF WORK:

37.5 hour week. Some weekend and evening work may be required for emergencies and projects.

Role will require full-time on-site engagement (5 days/week) in Chertsey, London.

Note: During current Covid19 situation the role is likely to be on a WFH basis but at some stage this is expected to change back to office based, in line with Govt regulations.

A copy of your passport or RTW in the UK will be required for submission for this position.
