Technical Support Engineer
Do you have good customer service skills? Do you have a good understanding of IT? Looking for a new role?
I am looking for a technical support engineer to join a global technology company.
Due to the nature of the role I cannot accept applications from candidates with dual nationality. There will be a requirement for the successful candidate to go through SC clearance.
This person will be responible for:
- Assist in the provision of technical Customer Support for Cyber Security products and services
Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of COTS Cyber Security producs
Assist in the creation of documentation and training material for Cyber Security products and services
Assist with feasibility studies and proof of concept demonstrations across all Cyber Security products
- A good knowledge of data communications including IPSEC, VPN, network topologies and architectures
A good knowledge of, but not limited to, Cisco technology, routers, servers and firewalls
A basic knowledge of Linux
Experience with a range of communications bearers, including radio, cellular, satellite, Ethernet and wireless.
Knowledge of common encryption standards and their deployment including PKI/PKI deployment with enterprises
CCNA qualification desirable but not essential
