3x Desktop Engineers
3x Desktop Engineers are required for a 6 month contract (possibility of extending) based in Surrey
Working inside of IR35 for a well-established Public Sector organisation, you will provide 1st and 2nd Line support as part of the Desktop Support Team, attending to incidents and service requests as required. The aim of this role is to provide technical desktop support for the systems and services used across the business, resolving incidents in a timely manner in order to maintain 'business as usual'. Where appropriate, involvement in project implementation will also be required.
The primary responsibility of this post is to deliver the highest quality service request and incident handling to meet and surpass agreed service levels.
The post holder will deliver the highest level of customer service and deliver a first class technical support service.
The post holder will work primarily on customer sites to deliver deskside support on a range of PC / Laptop or peripheral devices.
There is an expectation that the post holder may provide cover for Service Desk colleagues or other IT Services teams as required.
Technical qualifications, ideally Microsoft Certified.
Demonstrable skills in desktop technical support, hardware & software.
Good experience working in a technical support role
A good understanding of network & server infrastructure and cyber security.
Experience working in a customer focussed environment
Driving licence and ability to travel as travelling is a requirement of the job
This role is to start asap and will pay up to £13 p/h PAYE or up to £18 p/h Umbrella
