The Job

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage all inbound sales call/lead inquiries and generate sales opportunities
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop interest to secure net new business opportunities via outbound prospecting within defined target segments which may include outbound 'cold-calling' via communication channels such as phone, email and social media
  • Present and articulate technical security acumen, business credibility, and understanding to each prospect
  • Conduct the research required to understand the prospect's business, technology, and product requirements and develop a compelling value proposition
  • Enable a positive, professional sales cycle experience with all prospects
  • Ensure handoffs to sales are successful and seamless
Job Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the prospecting process with skills including cold-calling, identifying new business, navigating on-line tools for data mining and prospecting qualified decision makers
  • Work experience should include a minimum of 1-2 years in a sales, demand generation or sales support role
  • Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, SalesForce tools, and MS Office or Google Doc tools - Outreach or Salesloft experience is a big plus
  • An understanding of security, networking and technology solutions is preferred
  • Confident, ambitious, self-starter, positive, energetic, professional and team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast paced environment
  • BS or BA in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
  • Meet/exceed all assigned performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
