Network Design Architect
A Network Design Architect is required on a permanent basis for the leading Public/Private sector consultancy, based in Solihull.
The Network Design Architect will be coming into the business, reporting into the Technical Services Manager, being responsible for the design, implementation, testing and supporting complex Network infrastructure systems. The Network Architect will be an SME in Network technologies, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to design new, cost reducing solutions and following that up with owning the implementation.
The Network Design Architect will also be technically skilled in the following areas:
- Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Juniper, Palo Alto and Checkpoint)
- Load Balancers (F5)
- MPLS services framework
- Cloud technologies (AWS and Azure)
This role also requires the right Network Architect to be Cisco certified to CCNP/ CCDP level. Successful candidates will also have to undergo SC clearance (if not already in place).
This role will be suitable to a Networking expert who is looking to further their technical and architectural skills with stakeholder engagement being a key element to this role.
