The Job

Project Manager - Document Repository

Rate: up to £500 per day

Duration: initial 6 months

Location: Sunbury-on-Thames

You are a proven Project Manager who has delivered a Document Repository implementation. You has extensive experience in Component Content Management, Requirements Management and Document Management tools. You are used to working with all levels of stakeholders across a global business. You are comfortable working in Agile and Product orientated methodologies. You have a proven ability initiating large projects both at RFI & RFP stage.

The Role:

In support of a key strategic business need, the Safety and Operational Risk function has identified a need for a project to implement a requirements management capability / component content management capability to replace a number of existing pure document management solutions - and their associated manual end to end business processes. The project is in progress and a strong PM with experience in the selection and implementation of solutions in this functional area is sought. Experience of agile development is particularly welcome - along with knowledge of existing third-party vendor solutions in this functional space.

Key Skills:

  • Project Management Experience (business and technical) across multiple implementations - RFI / RFP activities including solution selection.
  • Organisational influence and relationship management.
  • Ability and confidence in managing activities with conflicting priorities.
  • Experience in managing projects for the core delivery of requirements management / content component management / document management solutions (including end to end business lifecycle and document storage)
  • Experience in managing business change activities
  • Understanding / experience in systems development lifecycles and project/change delivery including Agile and Waterfall. The ability to select the appropriate approach for a project and agreeing this with the sponsor.
  • Good understanding of modern ways of working (DevOps, Design Thinking, Agile Manifesto, etc.)
