The Job

A major utilities company are seeking a skilled application integration specialist & senior specialist to help shape an innovative IT transformation. This is an opportunity to join a household name brand amidst one of the largest projects of its kind ever undertaken on the South Coast, which will propel the business into becoming industry leaders as they cultivate a fresh approach to IT.

This position is part of a brand new team which is being especially built to deliver end user IT support alongside strategic and tactical projects. Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience of the full software development lifecycle applying both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. You will also need to have experience as both a full stack developer and software engineer. Primary day to day responsibilities will involve the development, testing and implementation of applications built on end user requirements. The role will be expected to liaise with the Solution Architecture, Service delivery and project delivery counterparts, to ensure that the applications are supported & projects are delivered to the highest standards, and as such stakeholder management & relationship building ability are a must have.

Essential:

  • Ability to develop, unit testing of code components applications.
  • Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
  • Deep integration tool programming knowledge of SW AG solutions
  • Deep integration build experience using API's ( SOAP, REST)
  • Demonstrable experience of coding standards, code libraries, code repositories, re-platforming, development standards, producing documentation, code quality assurance

Desirable:

  • Related qualification or 10+ years' industry experience
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to organise and manage a team of application administrators and specialists.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management toolsets, including Knowledge Base & Configuration Management
