Cloud SOC Engineer
Wayne Taylor of Networkers Technology is pleased to present this excellent opportunity to join a WORLD RENOWNED brand within Banking and join their investment arm on a contract basis.
Much like most of the FS sector now, my client is embracing all things CLOUD and an operational model centred on Agile & DevOps.
The Cloud SOC Engineer will be responsible for implementing security operations for the public cloud transformation programme. This will include building out security processes to support the wider implementation as well as implementing a log management solution using a hybrid of the existing SIEM and native Azure capabilities.
Another part of the role will entail documenting cloud specific security threat monitoring use cases including how to respond, along with reviewing compliant reports and following up on non-compliance.
Strong knowledge in the following areas are essential to be successful in this position;
- Cloud Secrets Management
- Public Cloud security concepts
As well as familiarity of the following security operations tools;
- Azure security services
- Trend Micro
