Introduction

A Network Engineer is required on a 6 month intial contract (likely extension) based in Fareham

Important

Data centre, LAN, Nexus, Cisco.

The Job

The suitable Network Engineer is required to come into the business and oversee the transition of Network support services from the current technology provider into BAU. The Network Engineer will support the project managers to understand any risks and issues within the transition, whilst mitigating those within their scope. This will mean engaging with stakeholders at all levels to make sure success within the transition is guaranteed. You will also be working with on boarding teams to ensure the service groups comply with the architecture set out to complete the transition.

The Network Engineer will also have a very good hands on technical experience in:

  • Support and design of Data Centre and Enterprise LAN Networks.
  • Network Virtualisation.
  • Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE and Catalyst.
  • Experience in delivering solutions in a high security environment.

This role will suit someone with previous Solution based consultancy experience for Networking. Candidates will only be considered if they currently hold valid SC clearance.

This role is looking to start as soon as possible and paying within the region of £400-450 a day (LTD/Umbrella).
