The Job

IT Storage and Backup Engineer - Dell EMC, VMware, Linux / UNIX, Microsoft - Worthing - Modernisation project work, support and administration of a large storage estate

You'll be responsible for a mix of 2nd and 3rd line support of a large infrastructure estate with a focus on storage and backup. You'll input as part of a small team in to design and strategy and be involved in a large datacentre build project as well as modernisation and migration work.

Any cloud storage experience would be desirable for future work (you can learn on the way though) and ideal applicants will have a strong, credible technical background involved in both project work and support and administration of a range of the following -

  • Dell EMC Storage
  • Basic Linux and UNIX administration
  • Virtualisation - Mware & Hyper-v
  • Public Cloud exposure (desirable)
  • Cisco UCS (desirable)
  • Basic Networking principles

There's a very small amount of travel involved across sites in the local area and in return a salary of up to £50k is on offer.
