Introduction

A Network Engineer is required on a permanent basis. Located primarily in Stevenage but with travel UK wide and potentially overseas.

Important

CCNP, MPLS, Voice, Networking, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, VPN.

The Job

The suitable Network Engineer will be responsible for gathering information from customers, design authorities and project managers to capture requirements in order to define the workings on a new Network Design and Implementation. The Network Engineer will be providing solutions for a new complex customer service, being an expert in the design and implementation of a Service provider network. This will mean being able to test the service and support any installations at any customer sites; across the UK and even the opportunity to travel overseas.

The Network Engineers main skills and experiences will include:

*Current CCNA/ CCNP qualification.

*Strong background in Service Provider Networks.

*Demonstrable knowledge of IP, MPLS and Voice Networks.

*Experienced in the design and configuration of firewalls.

*VPN's and IDS/IPS Solution experience.

This role will suitable for someone who is looking to work within the Defence sector and further their Network Engineering skills and experience.

For this position, you will have current SC clearance or be SC clearable, paying within the region of 50,000- 55,000 per Annum.
