Senior SOC Analyst

My Client is a pivotal innovator, supplying safety through technology, to provide customers with more efficient, safe and secure products and services whatever their requirements may be. They are looking for a Senior SOC analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will need to have SC clearance.
As the Senior SOC analyst you will be analysing security incidents, monitoring alerting and incident handling within SOC, and advise on incident containment measures, use and analysis of events using NIDS/HIDS, computer forensic tools, and computer security tools, perform and lead proactive analysis across client networks, Provide SME support, SIEM SME, provide leadership to SOC analyst.
The skills you will need to have to be a successful Senior SOC analyst are, SIEM and IDS experience, knowledge of IT security best practice, demonstrable experience of analysing and interpreting system, security and application logs and knowledge of ISO27001 and GDPR, knowledge of ArcSight products, knowledge of firewalls, IDS routers ect., Ideally GSEC, GCIA or CISSP qualification.
