A Repairs Service Centre Manager is required for 6 months (likely to be extended) based in Welwyn Garden City

The Job

The Repairs Service Centre Manager will be dealing with queries from the team, ensuring IT equipment is up to date, keeping team informed of changes, dealing with queries in relation to repairs, managing training, particularly of new starters. Managing a team of 9 admin's

To manage the delivery of a comprehensive, customer focused front line Repairs Service Centre for all tenants, leaseholders and customers, covering responsive repairs, planned works and other property related services.

To manage the day to day operations of the Repairs Service Centre ensuring a high quality service is delivered at all times, in line with the policies, procedures and service standards.

Management of the 0800 Freephone repairs number, ensuring the out of hours automatic phone divert service operates effectively at all times.

Experience/Skills required -

1) managing in a fast paced reactive environment

2) good experience of managing a team

3) quick to learn

4) IT literate, learning new systems

5) Able to find solutions to problems making assertive decisions where necessary

Car driver essential

This role is to start asap and is inside the scope of IR35 paying £15:06 p/h PAYE or £19.63 p/h Umbrella
