Back-End Python/Django Developer for FinTech Start-Up
FinTech London Start-Up- Back-end Python/Django Developer-50-70K
FinTech is a rapidly expanding industry, constantly innovating, and I'm currently working with a great FinTech company based in central London, who produce an app we're all going to want to have on our mobile phones! The company are currently seeking several back-end Python/Django Developers to join them and are paying between 50-70K entirely dependent on experience.
The company's product is a mobile wallet app, which enables payment options and paper-free loyalty schemes for the companies they partner with. The apps are both iOS and Android based and talk to a suite of APIs powered by the platform, using service-oriented architecture to support the process.
To be a Python/Django developer at this company the following skills and experience are important:
- Commercial experience writing back-end Python code for web development
- Experience with technologies and processes such as Django, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, RabbitMQ, Nginx, Celery, Puppet, Fabric, Docker, AWS, Kanban, TDD, GoCD
- Knowledge of Microservices Orientated Architecture
- Experience building and maintaining APIs via RESTful web services
- Creating and maintaining automated tests
As many of these skills as possible would be useful, but if you're someone who really has a passion for software engineering and programming, enjoys creating mobile apps and can code in Python, then you should also apply for this role. Enthusiasm and liking a challenge, however, are essential personality traits!
With plenty of funding behind them, and KMPG choosing them as one of 50 global FinTechs to keep an eye on, they are continuing to grow year on year. Due to this growth they need some more great people to join their IT development team, who want to be working with bleeding edge technology in a fast-paced start-up company.
If this sounds like you, and you have the relevant experience required for this Python/Django Developer role, please apply with an up to date CV and we can have a chat!
