The Job

Business Analyst (Supply chain or Logistics)

Public sector client requires someone who has Logistics or (Supply chain) experience and has worked in Agile frameworks

The role will be remote initially with an expectation to be able to go back into the office eventually (when restrictions allow) or at least part time / for meetings etc

Deliverables:

The succesful candidate will work with the allocated Logistics programmes and project(s) to define SMART Objectives and Outcomes, then supporting and mentoring within the Agile Framework ensuring that all defined objectives and outcomes are met, and the associated changes are successfully implemented into the business.
Measure: This Service is one that has a level of importance that means it will be continuously assured on a weekly basis across all the deliverables listed.
Timing: Weekly through the PfMO reporting and assurance mechanisms

Deliverable: Engage and manage stakeholders across the Supply Chain, as needed, to ensure successful elicitation project requirements
Measure: Principle Analyst and Portfolio Managers also validate the quality of the service and in particular the quality of documentary outputs
Timing: Weekly through the PfMO reporting and assurance mechanisms

Deliverable: Manage other suppliers? inputs into the allocated programmes and projects as appropriate, assuring their requirements meets client needs
Measure: Principle Analyst and Portfolio Managers also validate the quality of the service and in particular the quality of documentary outputs
Timing: Monthly by Portfolio Managers at the Project Steering Boards

Deliverable: To actively manage Features, Epics, User Stories and their associated Acceptance Criteria, working with Programme and Product Teams to maintain a prioritised backlog and handle all change events.
Measure: Portfolio Managers also validate the quality of the service and in particular the quality of documentary outputs
Timing: Weekly by Portfolio Managers at their weekly Project update meetings

Deliverable: Support the Principle Analyst and working with Business Transformation management look to re-establish a working Business Analysis practice based on the proposed Agile Framework and embed in the Logistics function
Measure: The Principle Analyst will measure the performance against standard KPIs established across other portfolios
Timing: Monthly review of iterative progress with Principle Analyst

Deliverable: 6. Working with the Logistics Business Product Managers create a combined Logistics Business Capability Map and strategy and vision.
Measure: The output will be reviewed alongside existing capability maps to ensure consistency and expected delivery quality
Timing: Monthly review of iterative progress with Business Architect
