Project Coordinator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Management Officer (PMO) with a focus on administration, contracts, and operations to support our project management team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient administration of projects, managing contracts, and optimizing operational processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing project documentation.
- Assist in contract management activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of project contracts, amendments, and related documents, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and deadlines.
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure contracts are executed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial reports, identifying variances and discrepancies for review by project managers.
- Coordinate project logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, and equipment procurement, to support project execution.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes and optimize project performance.
- Support project risk management activities by identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members and external partners to achieve project objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, project management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in project administration, contract management, or operations coordination, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of contract terms, conditions, and legal implications, with the ability to review and interpret contractual documents.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2) and best practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
