Job description
THE ROLE
Responsible for controlling & reporting against all commercial and financial aspects of projects from concept to completion (both internal and external supply chain activities).
Managing major construction projects lifecycles within a highly regulated environment
Discharging Client duties in accordance with Regulatory requirements
Maintain and manage a safety focused environment and culture aligned to the high-risk aspects of the projects undertaken
Managing multiple construction aspects while also effectively liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders
Would be the direct Project Manager of major construction projects through full lifecycle. Would be responsible for the technical, financial and commercial elements and contractual arrangements.
Become the Responsible Person for all works onsite.
Involved in the Health & Safety and Quality side.
Creating technical documents.
Creating and managing spreadsheets.
Creating business change cases.
Risk management plans.
What they are looking for from you:
Essential:
Experience managing Major Projects of significant complexity and up to multi million pound value
Team Leadership experience
Proficient stakeholder management experience and effective communication at all levels internally and externally
NEBOSH or IOSH or SMSTS.
Professional, experienced and can collaborate well.
Desirable:
Qualification in Project Management and/or Engineering/Construction, with an established Project Management skillset (e.g. development of Plans, Business Cases, Risk Management, OR equivalent experience
Security Requirements: SC
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC and you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period. The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
