Job description

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture, working to engineering standards and striving for quality right first time. You will use a range of hand tools and utilise your hand skills for manufacturing and installation purposes. Additionally, you will be expected to have an understanding of manufacturing and installation drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
• Working to engineering standards, striving for quality right first time
• Using a range of hand tools
• Utilising hand skills for manufacturing and installation purposes
• Understanding manufacturing and installation drawings

Job Requirements:

• Trade papers, e.g., formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)
• Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness and manufacturing processes
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
• Safety certification, e.g., SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height, etc.
• Background in major construction/manufacturing environment
