Introduction

We've partnered with BAE Systems to help them hire a Senior Detail Designer to join their local Glasgow team. In this role, you'll be responsible for engineering design within Defence, focusing on Maritime Naval Ships (MNS).

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Detail Designer, you'll carry out detailed Engineering design activities, working closely with cross-functional teams on a range of projects, making sure that work complies with industry standards and regulations.

You'll deliver accurate technical drawings and specifications, and will help to identify and resolve any design issues that may arise. You'll also support the business in preparing technical reports and documents, and participate in design reviews.

What do you need from me?

You're an experienced Designer, and are comfortable using design software and tools such as Foran. You've got a keen eye for detail and accuracy, and are able to use analytical and problem solving skills in challenging situations.

You're able to work autonomously or within a larger team, and are able to flexibly adapt to changing project requirements.
