Geotechnical Asset Engineer
Our client, a leading company in the rail industry, is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Asset Engineer to join their team. As a Geotechnical Asset Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and maintenance of geotechnical assets within the rail infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement asset management strategies and plans for geotechnical assets
- Monitor and assess geotechnical asset conditions, conducting regular inspections and surveys
- Analyze data and identify any potential risks or issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including maintenance teams, contractors, and engineers
- Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate asset performance and carry out necessary maintenance works
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in asset management, preferably in the rail industry
- A strong background in geotechnical engineering
- Excellent knowledge of geotechnical asset management principles and practices
- Ability to conduct inspections, surveys, and data analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for asset management
- Flexibility to work both on-site and in the office
