Job description

Leading international consultancy seeks an Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor level candidate with experience of working on rail projects, to join their established team in Stratford.

This is a contract role which offers hybrid working and will see you play a crucial role in providing support and assistance in all aspects of commercial management and quantity surveying within the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting quantity surveying activities and managing commercial aspects of the projects
• Providing cost and value management support
• Preparing estimates, budgets, and cost plans
• Assisting with contract administration and resolving commercial issues
• Undertaking risk management and reporting
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Liaising with stakeholders and clients
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in quantity surveying within the rail industry
• Excellent knowledge of commercial management practices and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
