Job description

We are currently working with a world-leading company who provide cutting-edge science, engineering and technology solutions, as they look for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their team.

The role will be integral to a huge national project that is critical to the national infrastructure of the UK and the world.

This role not only requires experience in Security Operations but also a good understanding of Security frameworks, ideally government and public sector (HMG, NCSC CAF, CyDR and JSP 604).

They are looking for someone who has

• Experience of cross-security domain approaches and solutions
• Security Operations experience, ideally in a SOC environment
• Understanding of threats, ideally in government or/and critical national infrastructure environments
• A working knowledge of IT Security risk assessment processes
• Assessing architectural designs to determine whether the relevant IT Security controls have been identified
• Stakeholder engagement promoting a mind-set of developing secure systems
