Working in a dynamic environment the Technical Architect is responsible for the technical design of the solution, adhering to industry standards and best practice. The role works closely with enterprise architecture, business analysts, developers and delivery managers to deliver new products and services to meet the needs of projects and programmes within the prioritised portfolio.
Key Skills Required:
- Stakeholder management skills at leadership level.
- Take ownership of solutions and have experience in presenting them at architecture boards.
- Methodical, logical and flexible in approach, you will have gained significant experience as a Technical Architect
- Good understanding of software best practices, including design principles & patterns, security and performance.
- Ability to explain complex technical information in business terms.
- New technology awareness, evaluation and selection. Running or supporting vendor RFI and RFP process.
- Experience of working in a technology-based role and interfacing to a varied number of internal and external stakeholders
- Assuring standards and compliance across on and off-shore partner delivery teams
- Solid grasp of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of analysis and development techniques e.g. SCRUM, Agile & Waterfall
- Experience working with PSS Solutions within the travel industry (desired)
