Risk Analyst ( Entry Level)
The Risk Analyst Role is within the Risk Management Department within the Programme Management Office (PMO) which is under the umbrella of UK Product and Programmes
Risk Analyst :
- Be able simultaneously manage multiple projects and have good time management skills
- Be a proactive self-starter willing to adapt to the needs of the business as required
- Possess good interpersonal skills and be confident to lead in meetings and present
Nice To Have
- Experience of Managing Risk and understanding of Risk Management Methodology
- Experience of Programme or Project Finances and financial analysis
- Have experience with excel and risk management tools e.g. TERRA, ARM (not essential)
Summary of Division the role will be in
The reestablishment of a Project Management Office (PMO) Yeovil was launched at the end of 2018. We have grown in size and capability since then and continue to improve and expand the scope to meet the business need.
The PMO accountabilities cover AW101 and AW159 Products and Programmes and also support Customer Support and Training (CS&T) led programmes, to ensure a standardised approach across all UK Business.
What will they be doing
The Risk Analyst Role is within the Risk Management Department within the Programme Management Office (PMO) which is under the umbrella of UK Product and Programmes. Furthermore, the Risk Management Department has a strong link with the Risk Family Corporate umbrella based in Italy.
The role will support therisk management methodology across both military and civil helicopter programmes and new product development e.g. unmanned aircraft systems. It is a fast paced environment with no day being the same. The role offers a wide complexity of projects providing opportunities to develop and grow within the risk management remit and all areas across the business. You will be working with many different stakeholders across functions which will broaden your knowledge of the business and industry, and provide you with opportunities to develop other interest areas. Within the role you will be playing an important part in;
Supporting the identification, capturing and assessment of risks and providing independent risks analysis to relevant stakeholders to make important informed decisions on supporting activities relating to risk.
Management of Risk Management Tools e.g. Risk Registers
Review the cost of mitigation action, budget and actuals and evaluate risks to ensure the Programme or Project contingency reserve value is accurate and rigorous cost controls are applied. Perform cost / benefit analysis against contingency reserve actions.
Supporting the production and communication of regular risk reports to ensure consistency and report the progress of Risks at regular intervals to the appropriate level of management.
Supporting wider rollout of Risk Management Initiatives
