VHF Infrastructure Evolution Manager (up to €80k)

As VHF Infrastructure Evolution Manager, you will drive the VHF/VDL infrastructure evolution in line with the technological and business requirement. As a central and transversal function, a strong collaboration with various stakeholders will be necessary to succeed (such as product, engineering, or operation).

Reporting to the Senior Manager Infrastructure Management, you will be a part of the Deployment and Infrastructure team (largest secure private networks worldwide, to transmit some 10 million messages every single day).

Responsabilities

• Manage the development of the RF infrastructure evolution with a focus on air/ground datalink radio communication.
• Coordinate with the engineering team all major hardware and software releases developed and required to improve the VHF service.
• Ensure all process and procedures associated to the introduction of a network element are properly documented, maintained, and communicated to the respective deployment teams.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and contract (mainly radio and logistics) in all aspects of the lifecycle process.
• Provide technical support to transversal teams and other company personnel such as VHF product, sales.
• Evaluate and ensure the adherence to standards VHF infrastructure.
• Oversee team responsible for radio spectrum management and asset management.
  

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in managing of global telecommunication infrastructure
• Previous experience with RF/VHF Technology required
• Experience as a Technical Account Manager /Technical Business Development Management
• Previous experience of leadership/management of a team
• Willingness to travel
• Understanding of ITIL, IT and network components and principles
• Engineering Degree or equivalent in Electronics/Telecommunication
• Fluent in both spoken and written English. Second Language is a plus.
