Introduction

To assist in the delivery and development of IT solutions, providing advice, knowledge, and guidance to the business for the replacement of line of business systems. The successful candidate will provide 2nd and 3rd line support for IT systems.

The Job

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT systems that staff need to carry out their jobs. This includes, IMS, Grant Management System legacy, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Apps, Office 365, Remote Desktop Services, Dynamics GP legacy system, Oracle Netsuite, PTX EFT payments, and other Financial applications, and all the associated software.
  • Provide technical advice for the Office 365, including supporting OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint Online, creating new site collections, building workflows, and managing term set libraries.
  • Ensure the smooth running of our Microsoft SQL Servers and databases including transact-SQL stored procedures, SQL integration packages (SSIS), SQL reports (SSRS), backups, restores and all maintenance tasks

Experience Required

  • Three years' experience supporting and developing against Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or above, including creation and maintaining complex SQL queries, developing Transact SQL procedures, SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Integration Services (SSIS), tuning and optimisation (OLAP)
  • Previous development experience in Object Oriented languages, such as C#, and including web development languages such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP
  • Proven experience in the software development lifecycle and release and configuration management
  • Able to develop robust testing strategies during the software development lifecycle process to ensure a high level of quality assurance is achieved
  • Previous experience of providing effective 2nd and 3rd line IT support within a similar sized organisation and technical knowledge and experience of supporting; Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or above, Microsoft SharePoint Online, recent versions MS Edge Chromium, Chromium, Mozilla, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, iPads and iPhones
  • Project support experience with; Office 365, and web applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to interact effectively with and support non-technical business users.


Desirable

  • One years' experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Apps
  • ITIL Service Management Foundation Certificate
  • Prince2 or AgilePM Foundation certificate
  • Previous experience supporting Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, Salesforce APEX programming, and Office 365
