Introduction

Project Coordinator - working for one of our key clients based out of Luton, with hybrid working available.

£450-£500 per day / Inside IR35.

The Job

Role Description:

  • Support daily project activities and tasks for the programme manager
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks and communications
  • Delivery-based reports including metric performance measurement
  • Liaise between teams ensuring task alignment
  • Organise, plan and support logistics for workshops
  • Setup and support tooling including JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint
  • Manage CR in-take, triage and output process ensuring appropriate actions are taken and complete - PMO/programme manager will chair
  • Manage mitigating action plans under Risk & Issue Management Plan
  • Support mobilisation and onboarding of new projects
  • Support onboarding of new project team members in the Delivery function
  • Liaise with 3rd Party vendors and ensure alignment between activity tracking and tooling
  • Manage and support small/medium projects on an ad-hoc basis


Essential Skills:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to work closely with team members and managers, and effectively manage problems as they occur.
  • Leadership: As the primary point of contact for team members, you must be able to provide guidance, feedback, and direction for achieving goals, escalating where necessary
  • Organization and time management: Managing the daily activities and needs of an entire team multi-task excellent ability to multi-task and effectively manage your time.
  • Computers and data entry: Proficient in MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint including the ability to generate reports and trackers at a scalable level
  • Problem-solving: Although project managers may step in to handle significant problems, you should be prepared to work through and resolve minor issues without assistance.
  • Positive attitude: Generally, a positive outlook makes it easier to handle the stress of unexpected challenges
  • Business and Data Analysis background would be beneficial
  • Understanding of systems, processes and integration
  • Experience working with both business and technology teams
