The Job

My client is a non-departmental public body, which regulates work-based pension schemes in the United Kingdom and plays an important role in helping to keep more than £2trn of savings safe.

As a result of a continuous increase in workload, they are looking to recruit an Intelligence Researcher to their Intelligence Team and support the development and delivery of high-quality intelligence products and services to the organisation and our external partners.


  • Responsible for evaluating its relevance and reliability, making recommendations for onward dissemination and ensuring it is available for further exploitation.
  • Undertake research to produce intelligence and/or inform analytical products, including collecting, collating and evaluating information from a wide variety of sources
  • Prepare, deliver, and provide briefings on research summaries and findings, to clearly and accurately inform decision making and/or facilitate analysis


  • Experience in collecting, collating and evaluating information from a variety of sources including the interrogation of open and closed sources.
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in line with robust governance and risk assessment processes, and ensuring the security of sensitive material.

This is a hybrid role that will involve attending the Brighton based office once or twice a week.

In return, my client is offering a salary of up to £27,500 and a world beating pension scheme.
