Senior Product Owner

Activities I do to deliver my role:

· Principal point of contact for the squads / teams

· Accountable for ensuring that the deliverables are achieved as defined within the scope of work assigned to the squad

· Ensure resources and activities are correctly aligned within the squads to safeguard continued velocity. This includes communicating progress to the business and managing both active and potential blockers

· Responsible for day-to-day management of two squads within the Product Feature domain team in a self-managing agile delivery environment

· Assisting the Program Manager to create Epics to match the key feature changes to meet business needs

· Working with the squad members to create user stories with the correct definition of done

· Works with product Manager and other PO's to co-ordinate and join delivery of a cohesive product

· Filling in for scrum master roles where needed in daily stand ups to provide a leadership position to ensure boards are updated

· Assisting the Product Manager to facilitate IA processes

Skills needed to deliver my role:

· Extensive knowledge of Agile development methodologies

· Proficient communication skills both verbal and written, ability to tell a story to executives as well as customers

· Project management experience, particularly being comfortable delivering in a fast-paced Agile environment

· A results-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for data

· Experienced in DevOps, agile development processes
