Reporting to the CFO, the IT Manager SHE UK is responsible for effectiveness, maintenance, development and security of the Information System.

  • Team & Organization Management
  • Manage a Team comprised of 4 people
  • Elaborate, submit and manage the budget
  • Use Safran catalog tools and make contact with suppliers of computer systems products and services
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers if requested and maintain a register of contract renewal dates to ensure early commencement of tender process (utilising Safran UK Shared Service Centre wherever possible)
  • Ensure good communication between the site and the Corporate in order to properly report SHE UK needs
  • Ensure proper communication and reporting to Management and Corporate IT Team
  • Operational Support
  • Ensure good quality of service to users (support to 160 people and provide quick respond to malfunctions)
  • Communicate regularly and clearly with users to ensure full awareness of system issues, maintenance, incidents and development to allow them to prepare for any disruption
  • Solve computer equipment problems, including server software and hardware, network software, use of specific software, etc.
  • Keep number of incidents, problems, demands within defined KPI
  • Maintain and regularly update an accurate asset register for all IT hardware and software along with a rolling replacement/renewal schedule
  • Foster culture of continuous improvement to propose appropriate recommendation and improvement plans



* Development of the information system

  • Evaluate and establish direction, needs and priorities in close collaboration with SHE UK executive committee and Corporate Team
  • Manage the development, implementation and installation of new systems according to Group standards.
  • Security of the systems
  • Ensures the coordination and reporting of events and incidents to the group and company security manager
  • Ensure site security systems are maintained and compliant
  • Make sure the managed systems satisfy with Group and SHE security policies
  • Support the organization with audits and renewal of Cyber Essential certification.
  • Define and maintain the disaster and recovery
  • Ensure information systems are UK GDPR compliant Ensure site is provided with appropriate awareness and support with assessing and maintaining compliance relating to Information security



Knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience of client / server environments in a Microsoft infrastructure
  • Good understanding of network and cyber defense principals



Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • ITIL
  • CIPT Qualification - (Certified Information Privacy Professional)
