IT Project Manager
Permanent | £70 000 - 80 000 | Surrey | Hybrid

We are looking for an IT Innovation Project Consultant (PM) who has a proven track record of:

• Navigating a large complex business
• Owning projects end-to-end
• Strong project delivery of large-scale projects, international experience preferred but not essential

Requirements

Experience

• Strong consultancy experience including management experience within a competitive environment is beneficial
• Experience working in professional service environments is required, with management consulting highly preferred (and related skills of problem solving and stakeholder engagement are required)
• Strong experience in working within a large organisation, multiple stakeholders, and big agencies.
• 5+ years of project management experience is advantageous
• 3+ years of experience in the IT/electronics industry is preferable
• Full project life-cycle experience in digital strategy deployment and use of, e.g., Web-based solutions, Agile development, application development, or digital architecture
• 5+ years of experience in strategic international business development combined with consulting will be preferable

• Demonstrated ability to build, grow and manage relationships with multiple clients and strategic partners
• A proven negotiator and influencer at all levels with ability to drive decision-making across multiple functions and organizational areas
• A strategic thinker with high level of business intelligence
• Strong analytical foundation, must be able to think through complex deal structures with multiple variables and able to pick up new ideas and subject matter quickly
• Strong project IT management skills with ability to organize project work effectively, reprioritize as new demands/changes arise and to juggle a number of major projects
• Experienced in requirements gathering and proposal write-ups
• Proactive, independent and responsible attitude
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work comfortably in unstructured environments
• Strong teamwork skills and an engaging and confident professional demeanour
• Clear oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex value propositions to client senior executives
• Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Jira, and Confluence
• Experienced in delivering multiple IT projects

Accountabilities:

• Ownership of allocated projects from planning through to delivery
• Identify key project stakeholders and build effective relationships with Online Experience team members
• Prepare project plans and business requirement documentation
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure critical controls are implemented
• Complete understanding and control of projects, their status, their requirements, and deadlines
• Identify risks and recommend plan for contingencies
• Track and resolves risks, issues, and action items throughout project lifecycle
• Ensure project activities meet requirements and corporate standards
• Prepare presentation material and present to senior managers as and when required
• Manage issues related to business professionally and promptly.
• Understand solutions and present to the client for business opportunities
• Identification and development of new business opportunities in the client base
• Clearly understand the customers' requirements to ensure requirements are fully captured
• Involvement in meetings and workshops from initiation to delivery.
• Maintain and form new relationships with multiple decision makers in the client base
• Produce reports for internal use (weekly, monthly basis)
• Provide strategic account management for helping customers to achieve their objectives via our IT projects proposing.
• Work with product management to define product and service offerings that meet customers' needs.
