Job description

Public Sector organisation is looking for a high-calibre and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join the Business Delivery Team. The ideal candidate will have relevant practical experience working as a Business Analyst with a strong background of delivery of business and IT projects in complex, operational environments

Responsibilities

1. Produce accurate and concise analysis artefacts such as Business Requirements Documents and Process Models using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN). 2. Utilise established BA techniques, such as workshops, to elicit business requirements. 3. Collaborate with business areas and technical teams to define, identify, and evaluate possible solutions that meet requirements and deliver stakeholder value. 4. Conduct detailed data, impact and gap analysis to quantify change and identify areas of risk. 5. Provide quality support and Business Analysis expertise on change initiatives and as required. 6. Manage concurrent tasks effectively, subject to priorities, to deliver high-quality outputs to schedule.

Experience needed

Experience:

1.Extensive practical and recent Business Analysis work experience using structured methodologies (e.g. Waterfall or Agile).

2. Experience: Practical experience of Business Analysis methods, including facilitating workshops, conducting impact analysis, eliciting & writing requirements for business & technical projects, collaborating with business users and the technical teams to define solutions.

3. Experience: Excellent analytical skills with a highly-structured, organised and meticulous approach as evidenced in previous experience.

4. Technical: Industry-recognised Business Analysis Qualification(s) (e.g. BCS, IIBA) or equivalent.

Desirable

Any experience within banking/trading/investment environments or Public sector could be helpful (not essential)
