Network Engineer required for a 3 month contract (likely to extend) fully remote working - up to £270 per day
Working in a fully remote position for the NHS (inside of IR35), as Network Engineer, you will provide BAU operational support including troubleshooting complex issues. You will act as escalation points for the 3rd line network engineers as needed, implementing upgrades/replacements of equipment as needed.
Key experience/technologies required:
- Strong Cisco technical skills on switches, firewalls and routers in datacentre environment
- Fortinet experience - including Fortimanager and FortiAnalyser appliances.
- Cisco ACI fabric with 9200/9300 series switches.
- Familiarity with Azure networking, expressroute, etc. including the virtual firewall appliances from both Cisco and Fortigate.
- Kemp Load Balancers supporting a number of applications including MS DirectAccess and VMWare Horizon VDI
- WAN network is a mix of Internet Breakouts with HSCN, IPVPN (MPLS) and point to point links
- Cisco qualification should be at least CCNA, preferably CCNP.
This role is to start ASAP and will pay up to £270 per day umbrella (inside of IR35
