The Job

Salary: £55k plus benefits

The role of the Power BI Developer is to provide development, technical analysis, testing and warranty support to a wide range of business initiatives, including our own development projects

using the very latest technologies and agile development practices.

Using your expertise in reporting and analytics, you'll be required to drive with the efficient delivery of business intelligence solutions and assisting in the build of a new Data Warehouse.

The role will include:

  • Designing, building and maintaining analytic solutions (dashboards) using Power BI, SQL and other BI tools
  • Developing and maintaining SSRS
  • Determining data requirements by liaising and collaborating with stakeholders, business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members
  • Producing high quality data warehouse solutions using appropriate technologies
  • Documenting databases, codes and stored procedures
  • Manage deployment of changes from development to QA through to release

Essential Skills

  • Experience of using Power BI
  • Previous Experience of using SSRS.
  • Strong T-SQL knowledge
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience working with Azure
  • Excellent problem solver with great communication skills
  • Able to build strong and productive relationships quickly

Desired Skills

  • Any ML/Python knowledge
  • Azure Data Factory
  • SQL Server/SSIS
  • Experience with Dataedo
