The Job

Business Intelligence Developer (NHS trust) - £340 a day via umbrella - 3 months initially - working from home with office travel once a month in Hamshire
(with strong SQL server T-SQL and SSIS development experience: 5+ years)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an NHS Organisation in Hampshire as a Business Intelligence Developer. You will be working in an innovative and dynamic team of application and business intelligence specialists developing and maintaining the organistion's data warehouse.
We're looking for people with a passion for information who understand its critical role in supporting the NHS and improving patient outcomes.
The data warehouse is a mission critical element of the organisation's information portal which is principally delivered through a large set of Tableau reports but also some SSRS reports for operational reporting.
You will be part of an innovative and cutting edge development team with a highly evolved and complex data warehouse which refreshes automatically every day from a large variety of clinical and non-clinical data sources. You will be working on routine maintenance tasks for updates to the data warehouse and other development and documentation tasks.
You will be an experienced SQL-server developer and an accomplished T-SQL coder to build and maintain tables, views, stored procedures and functions. You will also be experienced creating packages to import and export data using SSIS and creating reports with SSRS. Tableau is also a useful but not essential skill to have. You will need to be familiar with Kimball dimensional modelling.
You will have a data warehouse development background, but not necessarily in healthcare although that would be a great advantage
