The Job

This Solution Architect job role will join an established team and is located in North Hampshire.

The company are growing and looking to strengthen their team as a result. You will be focused on delivering innovative technology and solutions with a specific focus for clients operating within defence and national security.

You will provide technical leadership and delivery of innovative products and / or services that address customer's specific business problems.
You will own and be responsible for Solution designs, supporting documentation and materials, Customer and internal briefings, innovation ideas including business cases and solution research briefings and of course progress and status reports.

Key skills/experience:

  • Lead and direct work of technical staff
  • Pre-sales
  • Develop solutions that support project and programme goals.
  • Recommend and develop new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of strategy
  • Undertake technical and solution reviews as required
  • Resolve highly complex problems using application of your technical knowledge, conceptualising, reasoning and interpretation.

You will possess sound communication skills / stakeholder engagement skills regardless of level of seniority, being able to demonstrate this with proven experience. You will be able to articulate solutions to include why and how to ensure they meet strategic objectives.

Technically you will possess a broad knowledge across multiple IT areas and able to lead effectively and credibly. Cloud development, Software architecture, Infrastructure are key areas of coverage.

You will use your technical knowledge across the entire process from initiation / pre-sales working with Commercial teams to expand service offering within your domain and therefore must be comfortable in a client facing and engaging role.
