Main Purpose of the role

We engineer high availability services with high scale and security requirements to accelerate and support our high business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement an architecture that is resilient, scalable, secure and fault tolerant;
  • Implement the necessary procedures and metrics for an effective monitoring of the platform;
  • Assist the roadmap management with quality estimates promoting an effective management of expectations;
  • Accountable for the outcomes of his work, and for the effectively working end-to-end flows;
  • Strong contributor to roadmap implementation allowing a continuing and fast evolution of the solution. Be able to deliver small incremental features often;
  • Collaborate with other team members and contribute to a common code repository;
  • Promote seamless integration of the new features into the existing codebase;
  • Promote code quality, readability and high tests coverage;
  • Promote overall quality of the solution and ensure high performance;
  • Document the solution and flows

Requirements

  • Strong experience with development languages such as Java or Go
  • Knowledgeable of high standards and patterns for software implementation
  • Extensive experience in integrations with REST API's and data streams
  • Proven experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience configuring, managing and integrating OIDC is a plus
  • Experience in developing and operating scalable and highly available systems in an effectively distributed ecosystem
  • Knowledge of event driven architectures is a plus
  • Past experience with payment gateways is a plus
  • Familiar with CI/CD flows, Git, Docker and Kubernetes
  • High attention to detail. Doesn't leave things to be addressed or left undone
  • Ability to work in diverse environments (multi-cultural/multi-country/geographically distributed teams)
  • Knows how to manage emotions and values re-enforcing relationships
  • Accepts other people's contributions, expertise and experience
  • Confident and clear
  • Share our values, and work per those values;

· Proven analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
